Bottle from Kermis, thanks! Best until feb ’11 Deep dark brown color. Faded roast, caramel and a hint of licorice in the aroma. Fizzy. Coffee, caramel and chichory in the flavor. Roast. Cappuccino. Has kept extremely well.

worldbeertaste (1624) - AUSTRIA - MAY 2, 2013
Dark brown with a thin, quick disappearing, non-lacy, fizzy beige head. Smells of caramel and roasted malt, with chocolate and a faint hint of coffee. The sweet chocolate and caramel dominate. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Tastes of roasted malt, raisins, molasses, chocolate, and an ashy dry slight berry finish. Simple and easy porter.

Dark brown, lasting light brown head. Nice porter with enough coffee and chocolate in it’s taste and an aftertaste that is like a good mocca bonbon. Thanks Secret Sinterklaas ;)

Bottle from ABC Beers Den Haag. Poured a dark brown colour with a slightly reddish hue and a huge frothy tan head. The powerful aroma is of malt and caramel. The flavour is medium bitter with liquorice and dark chocolate. A very tasty beer of which I have consumed many.... just to gauge the consistency of course :-)

Pour alomst black, with a huge foamy light tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, slight chocolate, slight coffee, black pepper (?). The taste is rather bitter, with some faint sour notes to it. A little strange to me. Average body, with a very fizzy carbonation.

Bottle from Deanso. Poured by the brewer with a massive thick tan head and around a centimeter of hazy dark brown goodness. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and fruit. Flavour over moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Pours almost black in color with a tall khaki head. Slight sourness, roasted malt, acidic malt, coffee, and some cocoa powder. The flavor is a bit acidic. Far too much carbonation. Some roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa powder on the palate with a mild bitterness. A hint of earthy hops on the finish.

erickok (3499) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - SEP 26, 2012
Deep dark brown body with light tan head. Chocolate, cinnemon, dark rum and spices. Active and mouth filling carbonation with pleasantly low alcohol. Still has enough sweetness in the taste though. Well thought out recipe; a bit too spicy, if anything. Nice one.

From a bottle at ABC beer shop. Pours a murky brown with an explosive head. Sweetish aroma. Roasted malt. Short finish.

Bottle @ home. Pitch black opaque color, small to medium sized light brown head. Don’t smell anything, beer might be too cold or I might have a cold. Taste malts, lightly dark and roasted malts, slightly coffee and bitter. A bit flat though. Nothing really wrong but overall a bit flat. Decent carbo, low to medium body.
