COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A traditional ruby coloured ale of distinct character. Lightly hopped with English Fuggles and finished with the distinct aroma of Liberty hops with a toffee after-taste.

Cask, gravity at Banbury Beer Festival 08-05-10 Pours conker brown with a white rim of bubbles. Some malt and wet metal on the nose, its malty in the mouth, but this is a desperately thin beer for the abv, lacks body and oomph, shame really as this was my first offering from this brewery, the gentleman next to me a brummie who I gather was hoping to be impressed by a local beer to him expressed similar comments of disappointment. Cask at Cherry Red’s in Kings Heath Birmingham. Was glad to see a local beer on tap and was hopeful, but despite a lovely dark reddish brown the depth of flavours is a little cowpatty

Cask Stillage at the Roundhouse, Barrow Hill 14/05/2011 Some fruit aroma. Mid brown coloured fruity and a little rich on the palate with some alcohol present. A hint of dryness and bitterness in a roast malt finish.

500ml bottle. Pours red brown with a medium off white head. Aroma is ash, sour red fruits and a little vinegar. Taste is sour red fruit to start. Tart, sharp finish. Probably infected but still tasty.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’10. Copper with white head. In your face type P.B, a slight chemical note with a hoppy floweryness, there is bite and it shows some alcohol notes. Unusual and certainly not unlikeable.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 09. Very deep brown colour, lasting beige head. Yeast and malt on aroma. Reminds me of something. Reddish fruit here. Harsh redcurrant. Not what I was expecting. Daraker, meaner and fruitier than I expected. Interesting.
