Dark brown color, medium brown head. Weak aroma, some fruit, malty. Taste of malts and sweetness. Heavy on the stomach, probably because of the high carbonation. I like my double to be creamy instead of carbonating.

Bottle @ home. Full white to off-white head on top of a nice red colored beer. Smell malts, raisins, sweetness. Taste malts, slightly a hint of bitter, sweetness, raisin, dried fruits. Medium to full carbo, medium body.

Pours a nice cola colored brown. Aromas of dark malts, fruit, and a touch of spice. Has flavors of chocolate, caramel, and a touch of wood.

Bottle from Bierparadijs. Dark brown body with huge head. Sweet malty nose. Taste of caramel, toffee and sugar. Syrupy texture. Nice

33cl, from De Bierloods Adegem, not complex brew, yet easy to drink, balanced, clear, good head, nice brew

Bottle: Poured a caramel to molasses color with a two finger creamy off white head. Aroma is of dark fruits and hints of alcohol. Taste is a winey fruit with a nice sweet malty caramel finish. Leaves a dry warm alcohol finish.

Clear dark red brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, light caramel, light to moderate yeasty, spicy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090606]

Bottle Sweet taste, some caramel-likely. Was a pretty good experience to taste

6th July 2008. Mid brown clear beer. Thin and watery with a little malt and some apologetic hop. Very dry malty finish. Barely drinkable!

Bottle. Dark brown with large lively beige head. Usual dubbel character but with a little balsamic vinegar sweetness. Not bad, drinkable but not tummy banana inducing for the style.
