2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Benzai (2684) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JAN 17, 2012
33 cl bottle @ home. Appears to have very lively carbonation as thousands of bubbles find there way up to the big, very solid, completely lasting, thick vast white head. Clear tripel-golden color. This is what a tripel should look like imo! Wow! Aroma is a big disappointment after such a good appearance. Malts, slightly musty, hay. Taste isn’t good either. Too bad. Malts, overripe fruits, a wrong kind of tart-bitterness. Weird. Too much carbonation as well. Unfortunate, it started out so well.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 thewolf (8621) - Kolding, DENMARK - FEB 25, 2008
Bottle @ Yespr tasting. [thank you, Yespr]
Pours a paleish yellow with a great creamy white head. Okay lacing on my glass. Aroma is lightly fruity with peach, apples and an unmistakeable note of millet (of all things!). Fine mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly yeasty tart, vinious and rather malty sweet. Not that complex.
