33cl bottle. Clear copper colour with a nice white head. Fruit, banana and yeast in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is more on the sweet side. Overall, quite drinkable but not remarkable but not expensive either.

Aroma: Fruity, banana. Light alcohol, spicy. Medium-high sweetness. Appearance: Clear light-amber body. Head: Medium, white, good retention. Lacing. Flavour: Medium-high fruitiness. Medium-light alcoholic, pepper. light bready. Dry finish. Mouthfeel: light warming. medium-full body. medium-high carbonation. Overall: Nice. The lighter alcohol makes for an "easy" drinking beer, but still not a lawnmower beer by any means. 330 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre!

Abbey beer brewed for the German low-budget supermarket chain Aldi, originally by Riva, now by Haacht. Creamy white, medium thick head, golden blond colour; aroma straightforward, malty sweetish, honey, apple, pineapple, apricot, hint of vanilla, floral hops; taste equally straightforward (not to say simple), dominated by a sweetish, bit honeyish maltiness and rather weak, insufficient hop bitterishness in the finish.

Low on the expectations vs Belgian abbey beers standard...it’s a bit too heavy on the CO2, a bit too watery, a tiny bit too hoppy, relative to the velvety balance of a Leffe (let alone other micros), but given that I’ve transported it from Aldi Bruxelles to Estonia, it stands out in so many wonderful Belgian estery ways.

Green banana aroma. More of an amber colour. Some bitterness, some grains, some metallic flavour.

Vacation 2013 @ Virton, Belgium. 33 cl. bottle @ the bungalow, bought @ the local Delhaize supermarket.

Deep golden with a big white head. Nice blonde bitterness and taste. Good full mouthfeel.
