Classic belgian to start a day there. Huge carbo, some yeast in the nose. There are better belgian out there but this one is still way above average.

Clear deep amber colour with creamy steady head and medium smooth body. Nose of light yeast. Taste of Belgian yeast, malt, grass, copper, berries and mild apples. Very easy to drink and very quaffable. Really nice one.

6.0% gold colour with a good head, very much like Leffe, so it’s very good and cheap.

Dark amber colour with a very small colar. Typical abbey, but a bit dusty smell. Taste is tame / very watery, especially for an abbey beer with this strong smell. But the flavour is okay, and I like the taste. But the taste should have been stronger.

Bottle in a hotel room in Kortrijk. Clear orange coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of spices with notes of caramel. Fruity flavour of spices with notes of caramel. Spicy finish. Quite good for a beer from Aldi.
