Bottle from Noel Cuviers, Abel, Belgium, consumed Stiffkey Campsite 17-06-09 Poured hazy amber with white head. Some citrus on nose, possibly orange? Workmanlike Tripel that is just spicy, yeasty, fruity (orange again) bit of oomph from alcohol, it’s fine. 6 A3 F6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Pours hazy light golden with a nice white head. The aroma was nice with notes of plum, citrus-fruits, yeasts and cinnamon. taste like a classic belgian tripel. Taste a bit like christmas ales with notes of both cinamon and cloves. Not much of a finish The palate is a bit waterish

Bottle, Kris Wines, London. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a decent sized head. Aroma was an enticing amalgamation of spice, hop, citrus and caramel which worked nicely. Flavour has similar elements with a dose of malt in the mix. Alcohol is reasonably well masked, and despite a slightly rustic edge to it this is a tidy tripel.
