3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 wyzzywyz22 (1474) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2008
Bottle, Kris Wines, London. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a decent sized head. Aroma was an enticing amalgamation of spice, hop, citrus and caramel which worked nicely. Flavour has similar elements with a dose of malt in the mix. Alcohol is reasonably well masked, and despite a slightly rustic edge to it this is a tidy tripel.
