Golden color; nice perlage; huge head. Classic aroma, with some coriander and orange peel. Good taste, typical as well; dry malt, coriander and with a touch of cookies to add some originality. Correct final.

Bottle. Deep gold with an off-white head. Aromas are hoppy and spicy with yeast and caramel. Flavours are sweet, with sugar and caramel. Earthy and spicy with citrus notes. Bitter hops with a dry finish. Quite pleasant.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 eaglefan538 (2735) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - JUN 6, 2006
Poured a slightly cloudy yellow to amber color with a big pillowy head. Lots of carbonated bubbles rising to the top (woulda looked nice in a weizen glass). The aroma was somewhat clove-like with some citrus (oranges?) present. The flavor was light for a tripel with some candi sugar under the orange and spices (coriander?). Mouthfeel was much thicker than the flavor, probably too thick. An enjoyable tripel, but in the bottom half of the ones I’ve had from the very likeable style.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 harrisoni (10067) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - APR 10, 2006
Bottle from Noel Cuveliers beer shop with a picture of said shop/farm on the label. Golden Belgian ale. Some yeast hop aroma, some resiny hop with golden syrup mixed in. Residual sweetness on the end but with some good agressive hop to balance it. Touch of peach as well. Overall just a tad sweet and unsophisticated. Lemon citrus is quite nice though
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 26, 2005
Bottled. Clear golden, orangey nose. Fairly sweet, but with some resiny hops to balance it. Some creamy maltiness followed by an inky finish. Unrefined and unbalanced.
