Quack-Duck (5601) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 6, 2011
bottle from Village de la Bière Strasbourg. Hazy golden colour, not as amber as expected, large white head. Malty flavours with honey and lots of perfumy floral hops. Nothing wrong here.

Bottle conditioned beer bought in Brittany and drunk in UK. Rather nondescript. Clear ,honey coloured beer with only a small white head that quickly disappeared. Malty, slightly sweet. Little noticeable fruit. Best before date was 02/2010 so perhaps it might have matured if I’d left it?

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of berries - especially cowberries. The flavor is sweet with an artificial fruit note, leading to a dry bitter end.
