| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 19, 2006 Bottle (12oz). Slightly hazy yellow, average fizzy white head. Really interesting hop aroma - very dry and sharp, sweet, pine resin and herbal/pungent character, light fresh grain malt. The taste is a little more straightforward - light wheaty malt baseline, then an abundance of herbal hops, lightly funky, crisp, not as much citrus/resin character as in the nose - decent pils attempt, clean, dry, no adjuncts or crap in it at all. Light body, solid carbonation, mild astringency with a quick, crisp, somewhat bitter finish - good beer.
