shigadeyo (1370), Southwest Ohio Area, Ohio, USA Aug 14, 2006 Yellow/golden color. Moderate carbonation. No head, but has a faint crown. Sweet floral hop aroma and flavor similar to a Pale Ale. Almost smells like pineapple or something. Has some spiciness in the finish. The bitterness is well balanced and doesn’t linger forever after swallowing. Fairly light on the palate. Clean and crisp -- Very tasty and very refreshing!
12 oz bottle, $1.65 from River’s Bend.

Pilsner straw body white head, mild sun fruits, spiced, floral, finish is neat. jjpm74 (2925), Connecticut, USA Apr 14, 2008 Pours gold with a white head. Smells of sweet caramel, touches of apples, some dry straw and hay. Tastes of sweet malt, lightly fruity, some peppery splashes and a semi dry finish. TheBeerOrg (1376), Kentucky, USA Mar 9, 2008 Pours golden with a mostly receding off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, lightly herbal. Smells close to a noble hop, but there’s a bit of hop fruitiness. Taste is herbal, notes of cookie, bready malt, light hop resins and toasted malt. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Probably the best beer from Abita. Palidor19 (1279), Brandon, Florida, USA Feb 27, 2008 I cant find my self enjoying this too much. Its too thin and the malts are uninspiring. for a special anniversary ale, its not too good nick76 (2031), Tampa, Florida, USA Feb 27, 2008 The aroma has corn malt, and floral hops. The appearance is hazy gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall it’s so so at best.
