Nice deep brown in color with an off-white head. Aroma is very much like a tootsie roll. Chocolatey taste (tootsie roll-esque) with some vanilla in the finish. A niceroasty ale but not my preference.

Pours a slightly misty brown/burnt orange, with fingers of off-white head. Smell is of grainy dough, well defined caramel malts, with slight notes of vanilla and even some red fruits. Taste starts with grainy wheat, and unsweetened vanilla, with light notes of bitter toffee on the finish - very subtle English hops (although the hops therein are technically American). Mouthfeel is medium.

22 oz Bottle. Pours amber in color with a white head. Notes of chocolate, oak, caramel, spicey hops. Really good.

Tap. Dark pour with tan head that dissipated quickly. Strong sweet vanilla aroma. Sweet vanilla flavor that is easy to drink and stays on the palate just right. This beer did not disappoint!

22oz bomber pours mahogany colored body that supports a mocha head of foam. The mild aroma has light notes of dark roasted malts, vanilla and then a touch of earthiness. The taste has some roasted malts mixing with vanilla and then earthy to slight pine hop like notes. Underneath those I get a light sweet dark fruity ester like quality.

Pours a dark,almost black ruby red color with a dark khaki head with little retention. Aromas of toffee,chocolate & vanilla. Mouthfeel and taste is like it smells....with a very nice smooth vanilla finish. Reminds me of a vanilla porter. Very nice,quite enjoyed this one alot.

Bottle. Vanilla, chocolate, malted milk aroma. Dark brown with a small beige head. Chocolate, malted milk, and coffee flavor. Medium body, slightly chalky mouthfeel.

Bottle. Woody vanilla and chocolate malted milk ball aroma. Dark chestnut with minimal head. Chocolate malted milk ball flavor. Sweet but not a bad beers, especially for Abita.
