Bottle:   Deep cola, moderate to large foamy tannish head, nice lacing.   Strong sweet honeycomb biscuity malt aroma, with a bit of honeysuckle and vanilla.   Really biscuity on the tongue, lots of honeycomb like
cereal, slight vanilla.   Seems pretty sweet, thankfully while not being sticky.   Body and mouthfeel remains moderate.   Strong honeycomb biscuity malt finish.   I am kinda surprised I finished this whole 22oz bottle.
Its at that line where you aren’t sure if you can drink any more because its sweet with lots of that honeycomb cereal like flavor, but luckily its not sticky.   Tiz okay, but could use a little hops to balance it out a bit.

Pours dark with beige head. Not much aroma. A weak chocolate taste that quickly dissipated from the palate. Probably will not buy this again.

Very sweet but smooth taste. Certainly drink again. It was a dark ale but tasted sweeter than it looked. Naturally with vanilla in it
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Frothmeister (385) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 10, 2013
650ml bottle. Pours a clear, and VERY dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is kind of tainted by a sort of rotten fruit smell, with some molasses, dark malt, dried fruits, and something that makes me think corn snacks. The taste isn’t much better. Cocoa with dark malt notes, faint sour fruit, a strange burnt taste, faint vanilla, faint hazelnut, yeast, big alcohol in the middle followed by some sweetness, and a bitter burnt chemical finish. It’s not getting any better as it warms. Total flavour clash. Help.

Good, not great. Deep brown to black with a tan head. Aroma if malt, chocolate and vanilla. Tastes like a bitter tootsie roll with a bit of vanilla.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; cola with foamy light beige head that slowly dissipates into lacing. Smells of chocolate, vanilla, caramel, and roasted malt. Tastes like it smells with a nice, smooth mouthfeel. Good beer.

Tap. Murky reddish brown pour. Vanilla comes pouring out of this one - aroma and flavor. Very tasty. Medium density palate.

Wow, very sessionable for an "american strong." The mouthfeel is actually pretty creamy and enjoyable. A decent bit of vanilla but certaintly not a slap in the face. For a beer that’s basically an imperial abita turbodog with a hint of vanilla.
