Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty dark fruity and caramel aroma. Sweetish malty spicy yeasty dark fruit and caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy dark fruit finish.

at the brewery-pours a tan head and brown color. Aroma is sweet medium malt, woody, dark fruit-raisin/plum. Taste is sweet medium malt, woody, dark fruit-raisin/plum, some spicy, earthy hops, some yeast.

flavor is sweet malty, roasted caramel, bitter faint dark fruits.

Bottle from BevMo. Dark orange copper color with a multifinger, fine beige head. Aromas of yeast, spice and roasted caramel. Medium plus body with coarse carbonation. Flavor is malty, clove spicey and a bit veggie/herby. Though not exactly dry, it is somewhat astringent. Finishes dryish, with malt hanging around, and seems a bit mapley or dark fruity. The funniest part, I think there is funk turning up after awhile. Maybe it’s some kind of herb. Overall though it’s decently tasty and complicated.

Bottle… Dark, clear, ruby-colored ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. The aroma presents clove and sorghum light-molasses with smidgens of date and dried plum. Medium-bodied with tickling carbonation. The flavor is well-balanced and hints at dark fruit, but is fairly benign and has a strange mineral component… kind of like sucking on a rock while chewing on a piece of tree bark. Lengthy, minerally, mildly bitter finish. Not at all horrible, but something I won’t do again.

Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Aroma of barnyard, sourness, yeast, grape. Flavour of caramel, sweetness, yeast, light butter and grape. Medium bodied. Dry buttery and caramelly end.

A - Poured a clear copper color with a huge frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing.
S- Moderate to heavy herbs, malt, yeast and alcohol aroma.
T - Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish and small alcohol bite of moderate duration.
M - Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation.
D - I would recommend this beer to a freind as a drinkable beer.

22oz bottle shared thanks to Mike. Poured a deeper amberish (almost brown) color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of yeastiness and some dark fruits. Tastes of, and yes I swear, ’Sushi’. I kept getting Nori. I must have been in the mood for Sushi.
