12 oz. bottle at The Big Field Cafe in Ste. Genevieve. A cinnamon colored beer with almost no head. Fizzy, even a bit zingy, feel. This beer offered sweet fruit and nice malt flavors. Faint grain and some light spices. A nice and enjoyable Vienna.

Pours a rich amber color with an appealing head and lively carbonation. Aroma is bland and of malts. Taste is toasty malts and not much else. A really bland beer. Not a bad beer, just really really boring.

Draught. from Red Fish on Bourbon Street with Gumbo...awesome Gumbo and really poor tasteless beer. Nuts, grass, and faint pathetic caramel is all I pick up! with the food I’m eating (supposedly the best Gumbo in town but I’m sure everybody says that) this beer does not stand up.

Sample at Montgomery brewfest. Pours amber with thin head. Taste is malty and not much else. Blah...

I like this beer. Poured with a nice off white head and a little lace. Color is a clear medium amber. Aroma is malty caramel toffee and a bit of fruit. Flavor is where this stands out- not outstanding but very serviceable. Lots of slightly roasty dryish malt with a bit of caramel and toffee. Not too sweet. Good body and carbonation. Finish is like flavor and tapers off in a short to medium lenght. Easy drinking session beer.

Bottle at Razzoo on Bourbon St. Aroma is weakly of hops and malt.yep, about what I expected; watery amber ale. Good to use as a chaser for my Hurricane or Hand Grenade

A dark amber pour with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with a slight hint of caramel and hops. The flavor is very light with moderate malt. Finishes easy, not aftertaste. Not a great amber, but no real complaints.

A great, easy drinking beer. If you’re lucky you will get a taste of almonds, but this beer is always refreshing.
