Pours a hazy amber with a nice white head. Smells of dry malt, some straw, hay, touches of fruit, some sweet sugary hints. Tastes of sweet malt, hints of toastiness, some perfumy hints. Decent.

Had a bottle of this in a nice suite (Sheraton 4929) on Canal Street, at Harry’s party. Light malty aroma with a bit of sweetness in the nose, light brown sugar. Clear amber golden with foamy off-white lacing head. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Starts and stays fairly sweet, with bit of brown sugar and raisin, caramel maltiness and a medium-light hop bitterness. A bit watery overall, but a decent quaff while socializing - and hey, it was free.

Not a lager fan to begin with but for a vienna this is not very well done. Pours amber in color with almost no head. The aroma is of caramel malt. The flavor is much the same but more subtle than the aroma.

A tasting at Three Cellars Milwaukee. Well balanced, caramel aroma, no aftertaste and rich easy taste.

Amber color with a medium off-white head. Light caramel malt aroma. Light malty taste, or perhaps malty taste-less since it was very light on taste. It’s ok, but it’s a little light on taste & smell.

Amber and lager? They don’t go together. And this beer pours pretty bad. What can you do in New Orleans? Nothing to drink.

I know that it’s just me on this one but I really love this brew. This was the first craft beer I fell in love with and the one I keep coming back to. I love Amber beers and this is my favorite. It has a wonderful caramel aroma and when I poured it from it’s bottle into a Lager glass it gave off a long lasting full head. Great lacing and I love the minimal aftertaste and thirst quenching qualities of this beer.

Pours amber with minimall head. Minimal lacings. Nice balance of sweet malts and hops. Not familiar with Vienna style, but nice balanced brew. Recommended.
