Serve in Lager glass

clear pale gold, fluffy off white head, trace of lace. nose of sweet malt, grain ,simplistic. flavor is skunky, grainy, malty, simplistic. medium bodied, earthy malt finish. pretty one dimensional and forgettable. single bottle from cardinal liquors in frankfort.

Pours a clear honey color. Aroma of honey, molasses and grain. Sweet and malty initial flavor. As the taste settles in, there are very strong grain flavors. That part is not too appealing. Overall, it is okay, but not great

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Slightly hazy, deep copper color with a foamy white head. Okay head retention but no lacing left behind. Aroma: Bit of a euro lager nose. Light biscuit and malt notes. Overall a light nose. Flavor: Light caramel and brown sugar notes. Thin and lacking body. Light cracker and metallic notes as well. Meh. Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium-light mouthfeel and a short, metallic finish. Overall: A very middle of the road Vienna. Not really worth picking up.

Pours orange with a light white head. Not too special really. It is drinkable and tastes fine, but not outstanding.

12 oz. bottle at Parkway Tavern & Bakery in New Orleans. Pours amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma: grapes, malt, sugar, citrus, toast. Flavor is more of the same. Crisp, refreshing, and smooth. Small bite at the end- I think the palate can be attributed to the Abita spring water. Paired well with my shrimp and oyster po’ boy.

Not as smooth as I had hoped, and doesn’t compare to the Turbodog. Burnt taste.

has amber color. pairs well with cajun food is much better on tap would other abita beers are better

Clear dark amber color. Aroma is of malts, honey, and a little citrus (probably orange peels). Taste is malty, with a little chocolate. It seems to have a little bit of a bitter taste. The end leaves a little bite. Nothing overly impressive about this one.
