Pwn3d (1040), Manhattan, New York, USA Nov 23, 2007 12oz bottle with a couple bros of mine on thanksgiving. Very nice to start the night off with. I <3 Abita so far... everything they make has been uber pwnage. pinkzambia (986), Boise, Idaho, USA Nov 18, 2007 Tap at Ramada in New Orleans: Could someone help these people out there to know what good beer is? The bartender told me - "It’s a real dark beer." Cute. Anyway, it is a clear gold, not quite amber color. The aroma is skunky and malty. The aftertaste is all malt and something grapey. Nothing special. Oh well, another rating! ford9719 (369), Vilseck, Germany Nov 11, 2007 Bottle. Poured a ruby brownish color. Aroma is malt and a slight carmal. Taste is real malty with a water finish. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA Nov 5, 2007 9-30-07 bottle. Skunky malt aroma. Crisp amber color. Tastes like watery piss. So carbonated - reminds me of a spritzer. Just not very good. d1ringer (8), USA does not count Oct 23, 2007 For woman this beer is the one that taste the best. I am very fond of the flavor and taste, it is light and easy going down. Love it. Beerman6686 (1266), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 18, 2007 This stuff sux plane and simple, just like the rest of this company. Not worth a second glance. BrewDad (2363), Olympia, Washington, USA Oct 17, 2007 12oz bottle – Gravity Room – Olympia, WA
Aroma – Light aroma of malts and very little hops
Appearance – Brown in color, clear to look at with a little head.
Flavor – This was a malty lager with a tangy spice with the hops.
Palate – Not really my style of brew. Had too much lager affect
Overall –A good beer for those who like the lagers and the deep malt. The dark roastyness was nice and the hops where never found.
