This was a pretty big let down. Its way paler than one would expect. Some slight malts on the nose. Really watery and bland mouth feel. Nothing offensive about this brew, just very boring and bland. Bit of a disappointment to say the least.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a light tan head that fades and a golden amber body. Smells of hops and malt. Fading caramel and bread flavors.

Bottle. Pours an orange golden body with a 2 finger white head. Sweet simple malty body with some light nuttiness and a hint of hop bitterness to finish. Sub-par.

Draft. Amber with nice white head. Aroma of malts and hop essence. Not really a top not amber lager in my opinon. Taste was average at best. Not really digging much from this cajun brewer.

Over all drinkable. However nothing extraordinary or remotely special to see here.

On tap at the brewpub... and everywhere in New Orleans. Caramel malt aroma and a fairly strong malty taste. This isnt a bad amber ale. I would call it slightly above average. It goes well with a giant plate of oysters.

Bottle. Mild sweetish aroma. Amber body, light brown head. Mild caramel flavor, with some nuttiness. Pleasant.
