desurfer (1067), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA Jan 27, 2007 Served on draft in a plastic cup on Rue Bourbon. Nice. Dark-ish amber body with little head. Aroma is bready and sweet. Flavor is smooth and mild, with a bit of spicy hops rounded out with lots of doughy maltiness. Palate is smooth with less than average carbonation. Pretty decent beer. CliffInTexas (6), College Station, Texas, USA does not count Jan 26, 2007 I first tried this many years ago while visiting my friend in New Orleans. I remember this being better on draft back then compared to what i can buy at the store now. tjthresh (1746), Greenfield, Indiana, USA Jan 23, 2007 Pours a brilliantly clear amber with a froathy white head. Some caramel and toasted malt aroma with a punch of noble type hop aroma. Flavor is nice. Not special. Not offensive. A nice drinking beer. A touch more on the toasted side than caramel, but neither are really all that upfront. Thin palate. Better than swill, but not great. mcclenw (36), Stevenson, Alabama, USA Jan 23, 2007 Attractive amber color. Not much of a head or lacing (bottle). Just a regular Amber beer, nothing great or not so great about this brew. dirtyc (173), Erie, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 22, 2007 This one has a nice amber color through the glass.. slight caramel flavor with a white head. Nothing too special here to report on bitbucket (2026), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jan 21, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a thin white head. Bread and grass in the nose. Light body and medium carbonation. Nondememo caramel taste. Dry finish. A completely average beer. after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA Jan 21, 2007 12-oz., courtesy the kind hospitality of BitBucket, jr. Pours a clear medium amber with a decent sudsy white head. Yeasty and bready nose. Tastes almost extracty. Little finish. Blah. nramsburg (200), New York, New York, USA Jan 16, 2007 Sorta boring. Not much flavor beyond a little maltiness. Quite a let-down at 12.50 for a six pack.
