JJClark (545), Roscoe, Illinois, USA Jul 7, 2006 Bottle. Pour a hazy amber orangish color with a medium white head. Aroma was minimal. Taste was mildly crisp with a bit of caramel taste. It is a light bodied beer that starts off a little sweet with a slight malt finish. Not very hoppy tasting at all. Fonix7 (50), Toledo, Ohio, USA Jul 1, 2006 A refreshing amber with no hop residuals. If given a choice... go with the Abita Red, a much better beer by comparison. Ungstrup (14760), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 29, 2006 A hazy orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with a somewhat sharp hop note. The flavor is very light with hints of malt, and a somewhat stronger note of hops. A boring beer, can only be used for refreshment, even on a humid Danish summer day. LAboozehound (47), Lafayette, Louisiana, USA Jun 29, 2006 A bit watery, but a tasty light flavor. Probably my least favorite Abita brew. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 29, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours amber with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Somewhat fat, caramelish nose. Light and watery body with vague notes of caramel malt. Basically no bitterness. Thin indeed. 250606 stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 27, 2006 Bottle sampled with Beerded one. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet malts, grain. Flavor is sweet, malty, slight citrusy bitter finish. Ok body, ok brew. Hazmatt (363), Virginia, USA Jun 27, 2006 Draught @ ODBF. Amber colored. Average head. Malty aroma. Average lager flavor, not extremely crisp, weak amount of hop flavor and bitterness. Saarlander (1577), Saarlouis, Germany Jun 27, 2006 eh, some caramel, sweetness to this one, otherwise abit watery, not very good, bland
