COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Abita Amber is a Munich style lager brewed with crystal malt and Perle hops. It has a smooth, malty, slightly caramel flavor and a rich amber color.

Unfortunately this is another Abita that doesn’t hit par. Pours clear amber with an off-white quickly dissipating head. The aroma has milky caramel malt, vanilla and traces of hops. Medium / thin tinny body with semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with the typical bland amber ale style malt and light mustiness. The finish goes the medicinal route. Not good.

12 oz bottle. First of 13 to try last night. Good start. Aroma is sweet and some hop. Body is amber of course. Taste is light, slightly bitter, and sweet.

12oz bottle with a couple bros of mine on thanksgiving. Very nice to start the night off with. I <3 Abita so far... everything they make has been uber pwnage.

Tap at Ramada in New Orleans: Could someone help these people out there to know what good beer is? The bartender told me - "It’s a real dark beer." Cute. Anyway, it is a clear gold, not quite amber color. The aroma is skunky and malty. The aftertaste is all malt and something grapey. Nothing special. Oh well, another rating!

Bottle. Poured a ruby brownish color. Aroma is malt and a slight carmal. Taste is real malty with a water finish.

9-30-07 bottle. Skunky malt aroma. Crisp amber color. Tastes like watery piss. So carbonated - reminds me of a spritzer. Just not very good.

For woman this beer is the one that taste the best. I am very fond of the flavor and taste, it is light and easy going down. Love it.

This stuff sux plane and simple, just like the rest of this company. Not worth a second glance.
