Watery mouthfeel. Light roasty caramel flavour, then it’s gone. Slight dry finish. Gypsy19 (618), California, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | May 26, 2009 Pours a tan cream-soda color with an enormous head that fades very slowly. Aroma is of caramel malts, metal, and a little brown sugar. Flavor was a disappointment; Like an Anheuser-Busch dark lager. Basically a watery lager with just a hint of caramel or toffee sweetness. Other than that, very watery, thin, dull. Drinkable, but not highly enjoyable. Overall, fair. Peterlemonjelo (31), Birmingham, Alabama, USA

A - Pours a lovely amber/orange color with a generous head and nice lacing. Very nice looking beer.
S - Not a lot too this one. Very muted aroma of malt/bread but hop aroma is pretty much nonexistent.
T - Caramel malts and water dominate this tasting experience. Still not a lot of hops to be found. Slight bitterness but no real hop flavor.
M - thin and watery. Carbonation is prickly and help a little, but it just seems awfully thin.
D - This beer is more boring than it is bad. I could drink a couple but wouldn’t really enjoy any of them. storm13 (2), Covington, Louisiana, USA does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 16, 2009 Solid Amber beer. Nice color, full malty aroma, good sweet flavor with no bitterness. drtth (7), USA does not count | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 8, 2009 Nice enough beer but nothing outstanding.
Pours a nice amber/copper color with a white head that recedes quickly.
The aroma is dominated by the bready malt as is the flavor (which is as it should be), and there is a trace of hop bitterness in the dry finish.
Easy to drink but not a complex beer and so doesn’t really stand out. stefanje (938), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA

Pours a translucent amber color with a small white head that soon dissipated and had no lacing. The aroma a is mild with sweet malts. The flavor is more of the sweet malts, with a bit of sweet biscuit. the mouthfeel was light and crisp. The finish was short and sweet with lingering honey. Overall: This paired really well with my jambalaya, the sweetness of the beer cut the peppery spices quite nicely. That aside, there is really nothing about this beer to get excited about. Dark copper color, with very faint aromas of malt and even fainter aromas of hops. Very light amber in terms of taste. Easy to drink, but no real character either. Went well with my spicy meal...
