2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle at a tasting on January 13. The pour is a clear coppery color with a white head that fades quickly, leaving minimal lace. The aroma is hardly there. There is a little caramel, maybe some light malt, thatís about it. The flavor is just as helpless. Itís smooth, because thereís seemingly nothing there. There is a light mouth feel and the aftertaste doesnít really exist. The flavors vanish as soon as the liquid is gone. Not bad, but forgettable

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Well this is an enjoyable and drinkable beer overall, but there are some off notes at various levels that disappoint. Appearance is great with hazy amber color and full head, but aroma is light and bland. taste is clean and simple caramel malt, but not that strong of a flavor. Maybe a subtle hoppiness, although I'm personally not familiar with the Perle hops this brew is made with according to the label. Medium-thin body. Smooth, but has a lingering malty aftertaste. Almost more of a Marzen then a Vienna lager because of its mild taste.

Definitely not an exceptional amber lager, but itís not bad at all. The malt isnít as smooth as Iíd like but it has a nice flavor of biscuit and caramel. I also like the hoppy note of finality. This beer would be a good option to enjoy with burgers or pizza.

Golden amber with a smooth caramel taste with malt and a bit of hops as well, OK easy to drink beer but don't go out of your way to find one
