obxdude10 (1546), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 14, 2004 Very average beer, amber in color, decent white head, very little retention, a slight hint of roasted malt in the nose, malty flavor with very little hop character, a bit unbalanced
wilkie (1189), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Jun 8, 2004 Amber colored, medium white head. Caramel and roasty malt in the aroma. Flavor is malty and slightly saccharin. Sweetness is strong but could be worse. Finish is weak and unbalanced. Not one that I would recommend. n0kwa (34), Talisheek, Louisiana, USA May 25, 2004 Has a decent aroma. Light refreshing taste. No strong aftertaste. Clear co-pper color. Moderate head. VTHopHead (895), Barre, Vermont, USA May 15, 2004 Not a ver exciting beer. Does have an amber yellow color, but slightly reddish as well. Small whitish head. Not much taste or palate. Not a beer that I would seek out. fly (1331), austin, Tejas, USA May 7, 2004 This one has the biggest battle in that a lager is so difficult to have come out CLEAN. Well, I think it’s pretty rare that this one ever does. hershiser2 (902), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA May 7, 2004 Amber, with a small head. Very average looking. Smells coppery and bready. Tastes of copper... with not much else going on. Bland, boring, run-of-the-mill anyman’s beer here. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA Apr 26, 2004 Clear light copper color with foamy off white head. Aroma is of beautiful malty goodness and a slight tin smell also. I'm not sure if I've had a Vienna before, but it5's crisp, light and refreshing. Although not usually a big fan of Abita beers, this one's okay. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA Apr 26, 2004 on tap new orleans: another local micro. ofcourse everyone has one except my hometown. light copper color with small white head. not much going on with the nose, some mustiness maybe. a somwhat thin taste light hops and malt flavor, easy to drink but unexciting. a notch above the macros.
