sloth (1658), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA Apr 18, 2004 Small white head decent retention and lace. Clear copper color. Toasty malt nose. Light/medium body. Light malt flavors, not much else. Fairly dry finish. Braudog (3733), Dayton, Ohio, USA Apr 17, 2004 Nice amber hue with significant and resilient head. Light crystal aroma. The flavor is disappointingly lacking, just a bit of a caramel hint and nuttiness, but only if you really concentrate! YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA Apr 7, 2004 Amber with a foamy white head. Aroma was, well, macro beer. Could have been a Bud for all that mattered. Just a forgettable beer. Much like their Purple Haze which was a waste of a great name. Their Turbo Dog was quite pleasing but this is just bad. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 5, 2004 Coppery color. Good head. Smells of toffee and caramel. Slightly watery. Finishes crisp and clean. SledgeJr (2957), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Mar 27, 2004 It's a Vienna, so it should be milder than say the marzen. I like the honey sweetness which is definitely not overdone. A pretty fair beer. LiebeBier (788), Annapolis, Maryland, USA Mar 25, 2004 This is a very mild beer. The taste was a bit sweet for me. It was quite drinkable, but I believe because it lacked much flavor. Uriel (144), San Jose, California, USA Mar 24, 2004 A nice mild amber. Slight peatiness on the initial taste. The maltiness is smooth, but not too heavy. A nice combination with a meal. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England Mar 24, 2004 Draught, at Dukes Sports Bar, Manhattan. Amber, slight white head. Metallic aroma and flavour. Drinks easily enough, mainly because you don’t have to stop to taste anything.
