jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA Mar 22, 2004 Nothing special, basically a good lager when you are waiting for a table at one of New Orleans many fine dining establishments JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia Mar 11, 2004 Light, watery amber color with a small white head. Smells clean and a little malt. Taste is not much. Mostly carbonated, macro brew, American crap with a little more malt character than usual. This is pretty much just bad. Sampled on tap at Flanagan's Pub in New Orleans, LA. tooluther (10), Clemson, South Carolina, USA Mar 4, 2004 Dark gold color with a thick off-white head. Has a strong bitter odor and a slight bite. Overall a decent beer to drink, but doesn't hold a candle to many other Vienna's. beastdog75 (337), Brick, New Jersey, USA Feb 27, 2004 An average, but decent beer. Caramel malt notes in the aroma and flavor. Some nutty qualities, along with some buttery/toffee-like notes as well. Moderate hoppiness, as the malts seem to be the focal point here. Easy drinking brew. tbookman (618), Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 26, 2004 Not very good - had a funky smell of dirty socks. Grainy mouthfeel and very little malt or hop flavor to speak of. Thin and uninteresting. Hoss (602), Florida, USA Feb 15, 2004 While a little thin this is a better than average american lager. Has the sweetness that a vienna style requires djbuddha (90), Many, Louisiana, USA Feb 5, 2004 Picked up a couple six packs of this for a night of unwinding after the last day of work. Got the job done, but really isn't something I'd buy more of. Very average, nothing really stood out. Guess Turbo Dog is the top of the Abita chain, with this just being filler. Hangover (764), Atlanta, USA Jan 23, 2004 Bottle at Emerills in Atlanta. Easy to forget. Just your average, run of the mill beer. Refreshing to drink, no unpleasant aroma or taste... nothing really stands out however... just... beer, I guess.
