Hazy burnt orange/copper color with yellow highlights around the edges. Mostly white head that was not real full or very prominent. A bit of lacing, but not much. Several bubbles rising to the top, however they did not help with the head retention. Hints of caramel along with a prominent bready aroma. Nothing too complicated, which can be good. Solid in the nose. The bread and biscuit malt is nice and out front in the flavor. Detecting a touch of grain, which seems to stand out more than a typical Amber. The sweetness of the caramel malt is blended in nicely. Medium to light mouthfeel that is dry, crisp and smooth. Not a ton left on the palate, but enough for a good showing. This is a solid brew. Nothing too complicated or exotic. This is a working mans beer in my opinion. Would be an excellent Fall session beer. Could easily set a few of these back without even thinking about it. Goes down easy and without fuss.

Orange and little head. Cherry, yeast, spices, corn. Light carbonation and mild taste, somewhat bitter. Little watery. Expected more of this Abita ale.

Pours a red amber. Not much apparent on the nose, little malt little bready. Bit light-bodied, not a lot going on in the mouth, some caramel, bready again, tastes weak. Not very good.

Bottle poured into a taster. Clear, medium orange color. Medium sized head, decent retention and sea foam lace. Sweet malty nose. Medium-light body, creamy texture, and a short, soft finish. Typical light amber. Not special.

average rating for an average beer. Leans toward hops, although sweet grain also lingers. Light body with a bit of a watery mouthfeel. Drinkable, not memorable
