2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I think this was a beer of the month club selection. Decent lager, nothing too exciting but would choose it over some of its paler cousins. Serving: Bottle

12 oz bottle pour. Pours a darker copper color with a thin head. Sweet, doughy aroma. Caramel malt flavors, pretty bready. A little sugary with medium carb. This beer wasn’t great, but not bad either. Glad I tried this.

As lagers go, not bad and much better than most readily available draught beers in the USA. Bland taste, OK carbonation.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz. bottle from Cash Wise in Watford. Appearance: finger white head, golden copper color, clear, ok lacing. Aroma: caramel, wheat, light floral hops. Palate: light body, average carbonation, slightly watery texture. Taste: sweet caramel into ever so slight floral hops taste, finish is thin. Overall, nothing special, and even worse for the style.

Flavors aren’t offensive, just really bland. Light notes of caramel and grains. Very faint hops.

"an average amber brew...more on the malty side, but even the malt does nothing that gets me too excited. the best ambers for me are well balanced,or have one stand out characteristic...this is neither."

Bottle; yes it’s a very simple beer, very malty, very straightforward, easy to drink, good after taste. did I mention its Malty? yes. I could drink several without tiring of the flavor.
