Crystal clear and dark copper with a rapidly receding white head. Light toasty aromas are complimented by caramel notes, no hop aroma. The light flavors of this amber make it very approachable and drinkable but there is a slight metallic note, finishes with a delicate bitterness. Mouthfeel is very light and despite the lack of head there’s good carbonation.
It could benefit from a more malt-forward profile, but this beer finishes clean and is extremely easy drinking.

Poured a copper colored medium head. Aroma consisted of sweet caramel and some doughy hints. Taste was slightly sweet with a hint of biscuit and caramel. Overall a decent beer from the great people at Abita.

2.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Copper colored pour with beige head. Very clear, but a lot of funky floaters. Almost looks bottle conditioned and old, but I poured a fresh bottle. Aroma and taste are pure biscuit. Nothing else at all save for a bit if hop balance. It’s a good flavor, but far to one dimensional. Didn’t finish.

Poured a clear amber colour with a three-finger off white foamy head that retained well and gave sudsy lacing. Carbonation medium with small bubbles. Aroma of sweet malt, nothing remarkable. Taste of sweet malt and no real bitterness. Light body. A bit bland.

Tap. Pours clear amber with creamy, off-white head. Aroma is cereal and cookie malts, light toffee, faint woody notes, light dates, and light fig. Flavor is dry, bready malts throughout with some faint dark fruit esters and faint floral hops; dry, smooth finish. Medium body and carbonation.
