| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 6, 2005 Bottle. Pours dull amber. Taste is musty/sour. Very plain and watery, not worth drinking. Had it 2 for 1 so I got stuck with an unfortunate 2nd one. lagermonkey (597), Marietta, Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 30, 2006 Pours a crystal clear amber with a thin ivory head. Nutty malt. Biscuity and sweet.
Taste is malty and biscuity. Some faint hops. Lightly sticky mouth. Pretty basic, pretty standard amber lager (OK, maybe a bit maltier than your average amber) but very tasty and well crafted. Abita never knocks it out of the park but they are always solid. This one is no exception. phaleslu (592), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 21, 2009 12 oz. bottle at Parkway Tavern & Bakery in New Orleans. Pours amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma: grapes, malt, sugar, citrus, toast. Flavor is more of the same. Crisp, refreshing, and smooth. Small bite at the end- I think the palate can be attributed to the Abita spring water. Paired well with my shrimp and oyster po’ boy. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 4, 2005 The bottle poured a beautiful crystal clear amber liquid with an almost white amble head. Unfortunately the head dissipated quickly and left almost no lacing. The aroma promises a load of malt sweetness and has notes of chocolate as well but no hint of hops. The body was medium with a thin texture and lively carbonation. The flavor was the fulfillment of the aroma promise of malt sweetness and the finish was long and slightly bitter. Taste is somewhat watery, malt, some caramel and citrus. Unbalanced, not enough bitterness. Thin to medium palate. auderale (572), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA
