For woman this beer is the one that taste the best. I am very fond of the flavor and taste, it is light and easy going down. Love it.

Probably my favorite Abita so far. I like the hit of caramel on the end. Still have a few to try.

I am front Louisiana and this beer is our favorite craft beer. It is local and great for what it is. This is basically a session beer. Its biggest fault is that it is slightly watery mouthfeel, but it is perfect to wash down a few pounds of crawfish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I first tried this many years ago while visiting my friend in New Orleans. I remember this being better on draft back then compared to what i can buy at the store now.

better out of the tap than the bottle. not too overwhleming or heavy. relatively light for an amber. not bad by any stretch of the imagination, and refreshing on a hot and humid new orleans day.

Light amber color, very clear. Pleasant taste, very smooth, light malt and mildly sweet.

A great, easy drinking beer. If you’re lucky you will get a taste of almonds, but this beer is always refreshing.

Pours a rich and cloudy (beautiful) amber color. No head whatsoever, and smells of a very light, watery beer. Taste is only and mildly bitter. Very little palate to speak of...very soft carbonation and thin texture. Unexciting bitter finish. I do not recommend Abita Amber.

I drank this in a bar on Bourbon Street in New Orleans on July 20th. It was served in a bottle, cold, and tasted a little like Shiner Bock, for those who are familiar with the popular Texas brew. It was descent for a micro brew trying to make it in the macro world. I would’ve rather had an amber ale than this amber lager.
