| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 24, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear light amber body with a small fizzy off-white head that vanished very quickly. The nose is very grainy and husky with an odd grape soda quality to it. Not a whole lot of vienna malt noticable. The flavor is pretty thin with minimal sweetness and a watery cereal grain huskiness. This is just way too thin and weak to qualify it as a Vienna. There might be a bit of darker malt, but it’s purely for color and not flavor. Mouthfeel is light bodied, thin, and fizzy with a short rather limp, finish. Overall, just a really really weak effort at a Vienna. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Oct 19, 2003 Nice light copper colour with a proper one centimetre thick off-white head. Mild malty aroma, nothing too superb. Medium-bodied; Creamy mouthful; Short malty taste showing a few other characteristics, but really...not much. Aftertaste has just about nothing, only a subtle maltiness. Overall, this is one of my least favourite Viennas, and it's not recommended by me! I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 5, 2005 12 oz bottle from sampler pack - Pours amber with a decent offwhite head. Aroma of carmel malts. Flavor is of caramel malts and brief hops. A slight metallic aftertaste kills the flavor of this one though. On the palate this is medium bodied and fairly crisp and clean. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 18, 2005 Not bad for an amber. Very malty, but not too overpowering in it’s, uh, maltiness. Especially refreshing on Bourbon Street. FlacoAlto (2482), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 20, 2005 Pours a clear amber-copper color that is topped by a frothy, almost creamy, light tan colored head. The aroma is fairly bland with hints of crystal malt, and perhaps just a wisp of spicy hoppiness. The taste is soft and smooth, quite light and it has an up front light caramelized sweetness. The finish is lightly spicy and a bit bitter with a balancing hoppiness. This is really a rather bland Amber Ale, not really much to say. unclemattie (2446), Georgia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 20, 2002 I remember that this was the only beer I drank while in New Orleans and I had it on draft and it was good. Then I tried it again in the bottle back in Atlanta and it was only ok. It’s got a nutty flavor that kind of reminded me of Michelob, except a good bit better. It’s a good beer for the price.
