seemed to me to be an imitation irish ale of some sort. had it on tap in manhattan (52nd st & 9th ave) cheap busybeer flavor. barley, burnt wheat and ....nuttin.red beer usually sucks. SOFT SILKY WITH A NICE HOP AROMA OUT OF THE BOTTLE THAT hoppiness dissapears quickly. a little dank tasting not as bad as i originaly said.

Bottle. Orange with white head that fades quickly. Nose of faintly toasty sweet malt with a hint of some fruity sweetness as well. Flavor is a decent light malt with a twinge of sugary sweetness throughout. Nice carbonation, pretty tasty, certainly drinkable.

Draft: Clear amber colored pour with medium sized off white head. Sweet hoppy aroma. Malty watered down finish.

Bottle. Not much aroma, basically faint sweet pale malts. Pours orange amber. Mild caramel malt flavor, but overall its watery and thin. Better than a BMC though.

Abita Amber Lager is a clear deep amber color with a thin off=white head. The aroma and taste are full of malts and a bit of caramel with minor hints of soy.

Bottle: This beer has just enough malt taste and backbone to keep you interested. But I did notice a slightly watered down taste. Heavy carbonation and not much caramel flavor. Decent beer and good session beer.

On tap in a pint glass. Aroma is straight malt and fruity lager all the way. The flavor is a bit of malt in the front with a somewhat dry finish.

Light amber pour with a white head. Nice light malt aroma-some sweetness, caramel. Taste is crisp, clean. It has hints of caramel and is a bit creamy. Left a nice lace.
