Mark this as number 2 of Abita beers that are poorly rated here but left a very good impression on me. Flavor was far more like an American wheat than expected; sweet maltiness, strawberry, wheat, and a hint of caramel. Finishes with simple strawberry and caramel malt, though the strawberry tastes like an artificial sweetener version of the real thing. Sort of a saccharine aftertaste. Light bubbly body that I though matched the crisp tastes well, making this one a bit of a thirst quencher. I’m really surprised by the reaction here. Though not mind blowing, I really enjoyed this one. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Not a terrbly light beer, it has a good flavor, medium color, and it goes down smooth. It’s refreshing above all else. I give it good marks. Biscuits, bit of caramel, some toast, and a bit of malt. Medium short finish. Forgettable but not offensive. Maverick34 (730), New York, USA

Not one I would buy on a regular basis though (it also appears to be the most common local brew in New Orleans, as it was everywhere I went).
