Bottles all over New Orleans. Though itís not really a "good" beer, I came to love it during my time in New Orleans and had no trouble ordering it regularly. Malt backbone, sweet beer, light on the hops but a decent mouthfeel. I donít hate it.

Light colored lager, with an average head. Hops are thin. The malt taste is o.k., nothing special. Light to medium body. This lager simply didnít taste very good, disappointing.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20
Poured a copper colored medium head. Aroma consisted of sweet caramel and some doughy hints. Taste was slightly sweet with a hint of biscuit and caramel. Overall a decent beer from the great people at Abita.

Not a good taste, very corny and a bit too much hops, not very smooth, a bit bitter, taste is to be desired

2.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Copper colored pour with beige head. Very clear, but a lot of funky floaters. Almost looks bottle conditioned and old, but I poured a fresh bottle. Aroma and taste are pure biscuit. Nothing else at all save for a bit if hop balance. Itís a good flavor, but far to one dimensional. Didnít finish.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Poured a clear amber colour with a three-finger off white foamy head that retained well and gave sudsy lacing. Carbonation medium with small bubbles. Aroma of sweet malt, nothing remarkable. Taste of sweet malt and no real bitterness. Light body. A bit bland.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours amber with a white head. Taste slightly sweet, Carmel. I thought this was pretty good. I would drink this again.
