Not sure how this ended up in my cart. Easy to drink but nothing I need to sample again. Taste the grain, and some floral, something sweet, but kind of watery.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2010 On tap at Brewforia in Meridian, ID. Clear light golden color, rather pilsnerish. Big fluffy white head, and lingering lacing. Light malt aroma with a litle cereal and honey. Very Livy and somewhat sweet flavors. Some flowery notes and a little czech hop in there as well.

Draft at Carolina Ale House in Irmo SC. This stuff was not good, better than macro mind you but a strange flavor that was a turnoff. The real joke is calling this a doppelbock?

I like this beer, very nice. Plan to pick up a few more when I can.

On tap in Nashville, in a plastic cup, at the Wow Cafe (watching UFC). Pours a golden-amber colour with a white head that is thin and disappears quickly. Aroma is a decent mix of biscuit and caramel malts. The taste was a bit more interesting (and special). Nice flavours of darker red apples with a little alcohol warmth (but no burns). Notes of sweet malts were present as well. A pretty interesting Heller Bock.
