Pours a clear orange with a small white head. Very slight, sweet aroma. Taste is of sweet malts, with some spices and a slight taste of apples. Didnít really like it very much.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. pale yellow pour with a white fizzy head that fades. The aroma has some toasted biscuit malt character and corn, perhaps. I donít believe it is an adjunct but it has some of those qualities on the nose. Crisp hoppiness too. Light body. The taste does have a sort of pilsener feel to it along with toasted biscuit and clean, dry hops.

Love this beer. Nice head, subtle sweetness, great balance between malt and hops, and a strong kick make this a great all-purpose beer. If you are a hop head, this isn't the beer for you. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from bottle from cellar. Pours a rich gold color with white head (1.5 fingers). Aroma - malt, biscuit, touch of hops. Taste - follows the aromas, with a touch of citrus. Finish is clean, but pretty short and awfully sweet. This is probably the best beer I have had from Abita, but I generally havenít been a fan so maybe thatís not saying much.

A good offering here at this Louisiana style bistro. Matches the menu quite well. An almost oily mouthfeel, but fairly bald in taste. Gorgeous color though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Wow. Pretty bad. Not even sure what this is. Tastes like a pumped up lager. Nothing much to like, really.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of musty grain with a bit of sweetness and a hint of grass. Flavor is similar with musty grains and grass as well as a touch of sweetness.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a small head and spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, grain, a bit of yeast and malt sweetness. Taste of citrus, bit of malt sweetness and grain. Distinct bitterness and a lemony finish. Light body, definite taste of the 8% ABV. Decent beer but not to my liking.

Bottle - Pours golden amber with a filmy off-white head. Nose is corn, honey, cereal grains, and lightly bitter herbal hops. Taste is slightly skunky corn malt, sweet grain, and lot of honey sweetness. Finishes with bitter malt. Biting carbonation, thin, and slick.
