3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 reverendj (161) - Brunswick, USA - NOV 24, 2010
Lots of grain on the effervescent pour with hints of lemon and bread. First impression is sweet and grainy but redemption occurs with a slight taste of saffron, honey, and fresh grass. The 8% ABV is well hidden as long as it’s cold. Very drinkable and could be dangerous if one was very thirsty. Not bad, not great, but since it’s from the land of boudin and tasso I’ll give it a thumbs up.
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 bmerz (224) - New York, USA - MAY 25, 2012
Draught. Golden yellow with no head or life. No interesting aroma to speak of. Flavor was just cloyingly with a little hop spiciness. it was just slick sticky and dead on the mouth. I didn’t finish and left it on the table.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 burg326 (1056) - Florida, USA - MAY 22, 2012
22 ounce bomber, poured a golden color, aroams of caramel, toffee, and some sugar. Flavors are the same with some malt added to it, not much booziness for this one.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 jbruner (119) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 8, 2012
Pours a clear gold; lots of carbonation but little white head or lacing. Smell is sweet, with a grain undertone. Taste is light and refreshing, with the sweetness up front, but a nice burn on the way down from the alcohol.

Pours gold and cloudy with a short lived white head. Smells of barley and tomato. Taste is mostly sweet with a bit of alcohol on the finish. A little watery but not bad overall but not great either
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 IRBent (6) - - APR 29, 2012 does not count
Mild easy drinkability with slightly sweet malty flavor. Not very bitter, lacking sharp hops taste. Much stronger than it taste lends and will sneak up on you due to that. Found on tap at convenience store off 52 next to Pelham Police Dept.

Tap at Brady’s Brewhouse in New Richmond, WI. Clear gold pour with a white head. Mild caramel nose with some toffee. Smooth creamy lighter palate. Taste is far richer than the appearance would suggest - caramel, sweet sugar, and toffee.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TheJester (1262) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - APR 24, 2012
650 mL bottle. Looks the part, smells quite fruity - sharp apple cider, perhaps. Taste is really boozy. There’s just not enough there to balance the booze.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20 whitebear (37) - - APR 24, 2012
UPDATED: APR 25, 2012 Gold color and lasting white head. Aroma with an off fruity almost vegetable smell. Not really a dopplebock but closer to a maibock. Not my favorite.
