Another nice brew from Abita! I have to try the rest of their brews. Anyway, a real nice bock with a smooth after taste. Maybe not one I would track down but definitely a beer I’d order again with no hesitation.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 tmoreau (1268) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - FEB 15, 2011
On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., with "Mardi Gras Bock" on the handle. Dispensed to a shaker with a clear, deep, golden amber hue, fairly lasting, off white head foam, and dots and dashes of lacing. The aroma was lightly toasted malt, some graininess, a little yeast, and a bit of pils scent. The flavor added some low hop bitterness and a hint of sweetness, in a medium to light body. Not overly thrilled, but a decently drinkable Helles.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 ttutony (509) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 15, 2011
Nice malty aroma, with a similar malt presence on the palate. Has a nice level of complexity with remaining quite sessionable.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 beerbill (2848) - Laurel, New York, USA - FEB 12, 2011
12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a moderate linen white head that lasted through the first third of the glass and left partial lace. Light aroma of malt and not much else. The flavor is basically malt with just a hint of bread emerging towards the finish. Very light hops bitterness at the finish as well. Medium bodied. Very easy to drink and true to style. No problems.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 tatinek (32) - South Dakota, USA - FEB 10, 2011
Overall an average bock beer. Strong on malt lacking on hops flavor and aroma. Nothing special about this beer but very drinkable.

Clear copper color with a half inch of white head. Aroma is caramel and worty. Taste is the same with rich biscuit into the finish. $2/12oz
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Swalden28 (2540) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JAN 19, 2011
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear amber with beige head. Aroma of toast, toasted grain, light fruit esters, caramel, malt and earthy with faint band aid. Flavor is exactly the same, lightly sweet with a touch of nuttiness at the end with a light bitter finish and metallic. Mouth feel is medium body with medium-high carbonation. Overall, not all that bad but wasn’t into the somewhat earthy, weedy hop finish.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 drowland (3567) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 18, 2011
1/17/10. 12oz bottle. Clear light amber pour with a big, fluffy eggshell head that sticks forever. Light caramel malty aroma with a similar flavor that packs a touch of bitter and metallic hints. Better than I expected.
