12oz bottle. Amber colored brew with the slighest white head. Bit of a spice aroma with caramel malt and toasted bread. Flavor is burnt caramel and floral hops.

Heavy on the malts and a hint of spice thrown in. Minimal hop presence, but just not easy on the palate like it should be.

A mix of malts and spice. A little bit of alcohol at the finish. Not one of my favorites, something about it just didn’t seem right.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear brown amber color with a two finger foamy off-white head and some lacing. Light aroma of caramel malt and a touch of spicy hops with hints of citrus. Taste starts with notes of toasted bread and caramel followed by floral hops and light citrus notes in the background. Medium body and medium carbonation with a dry finish.

Bottle. Orange-amber color. Nice head and lacey. I was really suprised about how hoppy it tasted. Aroma was a citrus hoppy one slight malt .

Review from notes, sampled 12/21/2007 Received in trade from barefootbrewer thanks for the opportunity. Pours a clear deep copper color with a thin white head that leaves some lace on the side of the glass. Smell comes through with floral citrusy hops and a bit if biscuit malt. Taste is a good mix of hops and malt. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, not much body here. Overall not a bad beer, very tasty, but could stand a bit more body.

Bottle thanks to Suttree. Amber colored orange-red, beige color. Aroma is citrusy hoppy, caramel and toast malt. Taste is a bit more metallic, but the same light toast and citrus hops, light bittering. Unexpectedly nice if a bit simple.

2010 12oz bottle. Filtered amber-brown. Steady, soapy off-white/beige head. A pretty solid Amber Ale, quite hop forward. Some spices Id assume, but they are pretty well integrated, maybe adding a touch of cinnamon bite. Rather flavorful, but kind of a watery backbone. Sugary caramel, candy orange hops. Vanilla tinged fruity pungency of the amber malt. OK.
