It smells and tastes musky, like an aged Belgian brew (just not as good). The dark amber appeareance has a beautiful big foamy head. It is very malty but has a hop presence to help balance it.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear copper pour with about a half inch of lasting white foam. Aroma is light and malty with a nice pine note and a subtle hop presence. Hoppy and bitter at the beginning with a very light bit of spice near the middle and a roasted coffee-like finish. Slightly nutty with a hint of pine and flowers. Smooth and easy drinking.

Minty pine aroma with some sweep malt and dried fruit. There’s a hint of some barnyard smells mixed in. Dark ruby brown in color... simply gorgeous. Malt flavor with a hint of sweet cherries and minty hops. Overall, a nice beer, smooth and not heavy at all.
