12oz bottle, purchased from Party Source for $1.45. Clear amber-orange color, minimal head, some lace. Some roast to the moderate malt aroma, whole wheat. Crisp carbonation, very drinkable. Savory taste. Not terribly interesting. I can hardly tell the difference between a lot of these oktoberfest beers, but this one just barely stands out.

A nice looking copper colored beer with an almost non-existent white head. The aroma is entirely malty, some nuttiness and roasted coffee. The flavor is thin but has notes of weak malt. Overall, nothing memorable, just average malt characteristics.

(bottle - 12 oz) Slightly hazy orange pour with a thin white head. Very mild aroma with some vegetable hints and some dry malts. Slightly sweet and rather balanced flavor with a little bit of hops trying to come up through the dry malts. Finishes clean and a bit watery.

(12oz bottle). Pours copper color with nice off-white head. Active carbonation. Aroma of sour raisins, musty basement. Taste is sweet with metallic notes. Thin bodied with watery mouthfeel. Fail.

Bottle. Pours a golden body with an off white head and light lacing. Grainy and malty body. A bit thin with a watery body. Some cereal grain notes, a hint of peach or some light fruit tone. So so.

Pours a somewhat dark brown with a light tan head and not too much lacing as it goes down. Nose is pretty plain with hints of nuttiness, caramel, and a bit of bread. Taste is similar and the nuttiness is a bit off putting. Mouthfeel is somewhat astringent and light. Not terribrly drinkable. Im not normally a fan of many things by Anita but I’ve liked a lot of heir offerings more than this. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 09-29-2010

Pour is clear gold with some orange. Better head than the Pecan. Tastes like an Octoberfest. Lightish but enough malt to make me happy. Pretty smooth on the palate. Not a great beer by any means, but very approachable.

Abita Fall Fest has a medium, off-white head and a clear orange or amber appearance. Carbonation is moderate, with minimal lacing. The aroma is faint, and really, non-existent, except for a water smell. Taste is pretty good, with some mild sweetness, and some slight barley can be picked up, with a tiny hop aftertaste. Mouth-feel, as with most Abita beers, is light and watery, and Abita Fall Fest finishes wet and fairly refreshing. Overall, although the beer is on the bland side, it is a pretty good offering. RJT

Pours a transparent amber with a nice white head. Aroma is mild but pleasant, fruit & grassy hops, a little honey. Crisp in the mouth, medium-light bodied, little bitter & sweet elements, maybe a little pumpkin pie/cinnamon action, but doesn’t really offer too much, finishes sweetly and rather quickly. Just ok.
