Bottle To Pint Glass. Carmelly aroma, Amber in color. Taste has a moderate hoppy flavor but nothing overboard. Not the best beer in the world but I would win again.

New Year day beer: Amber with a small head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of crystal and toasty malts, a tad soapy and plastic like esters, mineral water, stale hops and an overall grainy and corny vapour. The taste is bready malts, a slight lactic twang, mild bitterness and burnt wheat bread dryness. The mouth feel is soft and chalky. Ack, standard Marzen blandness but did get a little better as it warmed.

Shared with scottyp at woody’s. Pours a clear amber with minimal ring of offwhite head. caramel, toast, bread, lightly bitter, paper napkin. Not a bad beer for octoberfest style.

Pours a clear golden with no head to speak of, some white lacing. Aroma of caramel malts, biscuit. Similar taste, hint of apple. Very light, crisp and easy finish.

Bottle. Pours light copper with a slight off-white head. Light aroma of caramel. Medium minus body with mild carbonation. Light caramel flavor with slight touch of grassy hop. Ok beer - just mild all over.

Pours a clear amber with a thick white head. It has an aroma of somewhat subdued grassy hops. It tastes of lightly roasted malt and grassy hops. It has a slightly thin mouthfeel. Overall, this is a fairly light offering without much to offer, but it’s definitely better than a macro-lager.

Aroma of caramel and toffee, deep amber with a decent head. Moderately carbonated, yet deep malt backbone. I don’t see the strong hop character Abita claims, but it is good. I always lean a little right on Oktoberfests. Not a must have, but it ain’t bad.
