Orange/Yellow and a bit hazy on the pour. A bit fruity sweet with a more malty taste. The malty, light sweet orange taste goes rapidly away and ends tasting bland.

Clear golden color with two finger head and some lacing. Not much more than aroma of malt. Malt in taste and faint corn with some earthy bitterness. Moderate mouthfeel and carbonation. Mediocre marzen. Probably wouldn't buy again.

Pots golden with some Ed highlight. Small white head. Faint smell of malt with some sweetness. Taste is also faintly malty with some antiseptic taste. Not very complex and not very good.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy gold with medium creamy white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is honey malt and fruit. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop and honey flavor with nice lingering light dry finish. A good marzen from Abita.

Aroma is grains/bread and a unique earthy character. The flavor is bread, malts, mild sweetness a hint of fruit and a mild dirty character into the finish.

Pours a yellow color with a hint of orange. Has a clean aroma with a slight mixed malt smell. Taste is clean and crisp. The mixed malt and hops comes through in the taste. Aftertaste of filtered water with a dissipating malt flavor. A decent not complex beer.

Does Abita brew a good beer? I’m beginning to think not. This marzen actually smelled like a bit of pooh, nutty poop. Not joking. Taste is bad upfront, but the aftertaste is about the only redeeming quality of this beer, it was nutty like a good nut brown ale.

12 oz. bottle from Randalls in North County. This is very clear and light coppery. Active carbonation keeps a smallish off white head. A light aroma of malt and very soft spices. Light hop notes are tasted first. Something like maple is tasted and a bit of nuts. The key words are "light," "little," and "soft."

Draft. Poured a pale amber. Aroma and flavor were mildly malty. A bit of citrus and hop bitterness. Pretty bland.
