3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange-copper color with a smallish white head. Nose has a little bit of citrus in there. Taste is light and crisp with just a hint of bitterness. Not bad at all.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2013 Appearance: clear and rich golden, big thick creamy head, laces nicely Aroma: hoppy, piney, Taste: just the right amount of hops, some grass, some pine, you can also taste the maltiness a bit, nice balance Palate: very faint bitter/hoppy aftertaste, some froth Overall: this beer is well balanced, hops is the predominate taste but its not too bitter, you can also taste a little of the malt sweetness ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Single bottle. Pale copper with about one-finger of head that lingers. Minimal lacing. Nose is fresh and hoppy. Highly carbonated. From a promising aroma, something is missing prior to the somewhat astringent finish. Put differently, think of going from foreplay directly to cuddling and pillow talk.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear gold with a big foamy head. Aroma of floral hops, some citrus, hoppy but not aggressively so. Taste of decent bitterness and moderate to light body with sweetness developing on the tongue later. Decent, but a little lackluster

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
[4784-20120916] 355mL bottle. Mild buttery pine resin aroma. Clear, orange brown body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Bitter dry wood flavour has a lingering light caramel grains note. Medium body. Interesting but otherwise average. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours golden with a short white head that fades fast to a film but laces after that. Aroma is of bread and floral hops. Flavor is bready as well. A touch of lemon as well. Light and airy palate. Easy to drink but nothing much to remember.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
I don’t know if I would call this a golden ale. It lacks the pepper, or citrus, or sharp flavor profile of better varieties. In fact, this doesn’t have all that much that distinguishes it.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Two fingers of head, with an almost completely clear medium straw colored body. Looks good.
Mild smell. Pick up some pine, grapefruit and honey though. What’s there is nice.
Taste is a nice balance of malt and mild bitterness. The malt maintains a low sweet profile.
Medium texture with moderate carbonation. Fits the bill.
A good pale ale that lets something other than the hops shine.
