Bottle. Pours a hazy orange gold with a white that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has very musty pine and citrus note with some sweet grains and a hint of toffee. Flavor has musty grain and pine with a hint of sweet grain and toffee.

Pretty good on cask. Slight hoppy aroma, but taste was also sweet, almost a bit candied like a Christmas or holiday hoppy ale.

Catching up on some old ratings from Untappd -- First rated on 10 Oct 2013. Probably one of my favorite Abita "regular" brews.

Aroma has some malts, light hops, and some toffee detectable. Light amber pour, white head. Flavor is sweet kings Hawaiian rolls, peppery hops, fruit. Body is light, I like it. This is a good beer.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2015 "Restoration Pale Ale", 5.2% abv.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
@ Party Town / Bellvue KY hazy dirty orange, 1/2" head w/ good retention, stripes of lace. Aroma is pleasant hops. Taste is mild caramel malt that is somehow over-run by equally mild hops. I’m not saying there is nothing here, only that all is understated. Actually very sessionable, but would quickly grow tiresome for lack of flavor.

Pours a hazy yellow with smallish head. Light pine aroma. A little thin and lacks balance. Disappointing.

Bottle from Bert’s
Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a decent sized white head and minimal lace. Aromas of pine and grapefruit are evident as soon as I pry off the cap. Bready caramel malt with a hint of sulfur provides a base for the aroma. The flavor is bready caramel with lots of light juicy fruits. Hop flavors are rather mute with a light level of hop bitterness. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Smells like there might be some hops, but they must have turned to fruit. Easy drinking mild pale ale that I could easily session if I weren’t always looking for more hops.
