COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Mix a 6 from Southern View County Market. Not tons flavor going on with this. It is not bad but it floated in between summer hot weather beer and a standard pale ale in flavor and didn’t work for me. Serving: Bottle

Hoppy aroma and a nice golden appearance. IPA like in taste and a little bitter. Not my predilection in flavor profile.

Decent English Pale Ale. Some aroma of citrus hops, though the palate is a little watery overall. Pours golden with ok head and lacing. Finishes with light bitterness. Tap at Desperadoes.

On Cask at the 6th Annual Winking Lizard Cask Ale Festival on 3/22/14. Clear amber pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of malt, pine and some citrus. Malty flavor with slight caramel, along with metal and potato accents before a weak finish.

Cask version at Winking Lizard’s 6th Annual Real Ale Fest (03/22/14): Hazy golden color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied and creamy with flavors of grassy hops, bready malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short fruit hops aftertaste. Average overall.

Pretty good on cask. Slight hoppy aroma, but taste was also sweet, almost a bit candied like a Christmas or holiday hoppy ale.

Catching up on some old ratings from Untappd -- First rated on 10 Oct 2013. Probably one of my favorite Abita "regular" brews.

Aroma has some malts, light hops, and some toffee detectable. Light amber pour, white head. Flavor is sweet kings Hawaiian rolls, peppery hops, fruit. Body is light, I like it. This is a good beer.

"Restoration Pale Ale", 5.2% abv.
