3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Two fingers of head, with an almost completely clear medium straw colored body. Looks good.
Mild smell. Pick up some pine, grapefruit and honey though. What’s there is nice.
Taste is a nice balance of malt and mild bitterness. The malt maintains a low sweet profile.
Medium texture with moderate carbonation. Fits the bill.
A good pale ale that lets something other than the hops shine.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
My Bottom Line:
Poorly-defined sugary cereals dominate this underhopped Pale Ale, yielding a rather boring pint.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the cloudy beige.
-Drinkability could be higher; this is sweetish for the style.
-In a blind tasting, I would not have billed this as a Pale Ale. The hops are that shy...
-There is little flavor nuance to speak of in here.
On tap at Acme Oyster Bar, New Orleans.

Cask. Hazy dark orange with small foamy white head, grassy hops aroma, low carbonation, slightly sweet hoppy taste, thin body, abrupt finish. Quite smooth but a bit weak.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle poured. Listed as Abita Restoration Pale, 5.2%, like the collaboration beer was. Pours a cloudy copper color with a thick foam head. Bottle a couple weeks after is best by date. Sweet tropical orange fruit aroma. Creamy body. Flavor is really hoppy throughout, and tropical. Some tangerine. Tasty hop forward finish. Tasty pale. Good beer here.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks kajzer for sharing this with us! At Pivoteka. Slightly misty orange/amber body with a thick white head. Malt-driven aroma, orange rock candy. Taste... light, nice orange rock candy, no bitterness and almost no aftertaste. Oof. Not sure how it is fresh, but I guess this one has taken a blow from the travel. Still proved to be better than the other Abitas I’ve had that day.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml bottle. Barely clear, golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Perfumed, herbal and floral, hoppy aroma, biscuity, pale malty background, some lemon biscuit. Taste is crisp hoppy, slighty grassy, floral, some lemon, a minimally perfumed touch of bath salt. Nicely hopped, quite OK.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from 12 ounce bottle labeled "Abita Restoration Pale Ale" bought as part of an Abita variety 12 pack from Jeff’s Marathon, tasted on April 5, 2015, Slightly hazy golden hue, interesting orange/other citrus/hoppy nose, taste pretty much like the aroma. Not the biggest beer around but a nice, sessionable brew.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
355ml bottle as Restoration pale ale (ABV 5.2%). Hazy orange pour with an ample white head. Nose and taste of biscuity sweet malts with citrusy and piney hops. Finishes mildly dry and bitter with a medium body and carbonation. Less resinous than Sierra Nevada pale ale.
