COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Bottle... Clear, light golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Sublte nose; almost nondescript. The flavor is perfectly balanced, but uninspiring. I can only pick up some tanginess up front, followed closely by a laid-back bitterness. Fairly thin on the palate. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and adequate carbonation. Medium length, almost tart, then dry finish.

Bottle shared courtesy of DenverLogan. Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized white head. I really didnít get too much our of the aromas and tastes. Some cardboard, maybe some malts and citrus. Thin body.

Cask version at Winking Lizardís 6th Annual Real Ale Fest (03/22/14): Hazy golden color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied and creamy with flavors of grassy hops, bready malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short fruit hops aftertaste. Average overall.

Multiple samples for fun at amateur beer tasting night. Pours a clear straw with a two-finger white head. Not much retention or lace. Aroma is raw grain, white sugar, raw oatmeal. Taste is brown sugar oatmeal, raw grains, extreme earthiness. Similar to Great Lakesí beers. Very nice surprise!

Drank alongside gumbo. It has a cough medicine taste but alsoa smooth orangey flavor that goes with shellfish.

Bottle. Barley malt aroma - slight sweetness. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet barley malt flavor with light hops finish. Okay - better than most other Abita beers Iíve tried lately.

Pale golden beer, quite hazy with a thin white head. Aroma is quite wheaty, light orange peel with some light berryish fruitiness in back. There is also some sweet nuttiness that is a bit surprising is such a pale beer. Flavour is a bit butterscotchy which is probably where the nutty aroma is coming from. Watery palate and moderate bitterness iwth a lingering orange peel/diacetyl flavour. Itís a pretty boring brew.

Perfectly clear amber orange color, poured with a fine tall head in a pilsener flute. Slightly fruity and gummy wheat and grain nose. Lemon and soap scents primarily, but thereís some melon scents as well that are kind of nice. Moderately hoppy sweet fruit flavor, clean and crisp on the tongue, with some light grain and sugar flavor. Wet palate.

Draught at the Abita Brewpub, Abita Springs, LA. Clear pale golden colour with a small white head. Sweet fruity hops and mild sweet malt in a very balanced aroma. Mild sweet hops and caramel malt in an incredibly well balanced flavour. Tasty and very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
