COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

UPDATED: OCT 7, 2012 Re-rate 10/7/12: Bottle. Beer of the month club. Clear deep golden with a medium white head. Pleasant floral and citric hops aroma with a bit of bready and slightly biscuity malt. Flavor has light malt sweetness and crisp floral/citric hops bitterness. Light-medium-bodied. A nice one. It seems I like it better than I did 5 years ago. 7/3/7/3/14=3.4

Bottle sample at a tasting. Hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma of floral hops, a bit of malt and a bit of citrus. Flavor of sweet malt, a bit fruity, with a mild and quite weak dry finish with hops and a bit of citrus. Body is too light. Rather boring. 6/3/5/2/11=2.7

Bottle shared courtesy of DenverLogan. Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized white head. I really didn’t get too much our of the aromas and tastes. Some cardboard, maybe some malts and citrus. Thin body.

Cask version at Winking Lizard’s 6th Annual Real Ale Fest (03/22/14): Hazy golden color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied and creamy with flavors of grassy hops, bready malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short fruit hops aftertaste. Average overall.

Bottle, thanks Deepsouth!! Pours a slightly cloudy yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma is of malts, hops and something funky. Flavor is a tad better than the aroma. Malty and hops are present...no complexity but as with most Abita beers I find it prett smooth.

Drank alongside gumbo. It has a cough medicine taste but alsoa smooth orangey flavor that goes with shellfish.

Bottle... Clear, light golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Sublte nose; almost nondescript. The flavor is perfectly balanced, but uninspiring. I can only pick up some tanginess up front, followed closely by a laid-back bitterness. Fairly thin on the palate. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and adequate carbonation. Medium length, almost tart, then dry finish.

Bottle. Barley malt aroma - slight sweetness. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet barley malt flavor with light hops finish. Okay - better than most other Abita beers I’ve tried lately.

Draught at the Abita Brewpub, Abita Springs, LA. Clear pale golden colour with a small white head. Sweet fruity hops and mild sweet malt in a very balanced aroma. Mild sweet hops and caramel malt in an incredibly well balanced flavour. Tasty and very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange gold with a white that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has very musty pine and citrus note with some sweet grains and a hint of toffee. Flavor has musty grain and pine with a hint of sweet grain and toffee.
