3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours clear golden with a foamy head. The aroma is a lush honey/malt. A sweet honey, malt flavour with just a hint of a bitter finish. I really like that but couldn’t drink lots.

355ml bottle into glass. BIG malt whack on the nose. Hazy golden beer with solid white head. Flat watery mouthfeel. There’s a subdued hoppiness about, then a grainy bitter finish. A bit lame. Inconsequential.

Pine hops sherbet and malt all bang it out in your mouth, doesn?t linger it?s punchiness dissolving, leaving light bitter disturbances over a mellow orange crush of ale. Each sip zings a bit, ok pre dinner sipper.

On tap at Lester & Earl. Enough hops to be an IPA in my mind, delicious and smooth with a slight sweet finish.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma: lightly citrusy, faint hops; Appearance: golden straw with fluffy head that dissipates quickly; some lacing; Taste: smooth, but not much personality; Palate: light body with long, slightly bitter finish; Overall: decent beer if you’ve just finished working in the yard -- otherwise, pretty forgettable.

12 oz. bottle. As Abita Restoration Pale Ale. Deep golden color with off-white head. Slight citrus aroma, paired with sweet caramel. Taste: mild citrus, caramel, and malt. Mildly sweet and mildly bitter. Light-bodied. The different flavors never quite seem to gel in a pleasing manner.
