COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Stubby 12 oz. twist-off bottle, blurb and notched freshness date on the back label, sampled in a pint glass. L: Hazy orange hued light golden with a frothy white head that leaves a good deal of ringed laced sticking along the sides of the glass. S: Dash of lemon juice and orange pith surrounded by caramel grainy malts. Touches of sweet bread framing the edges. Simple, but effective nose. F&T: Steady stream of micro bubbly carbonation gives the moderate body a softly firm feel, mildly crisp and dry. Lemon juice and sweet tangerines tasting hops that finish with a nice drying spicy bitterness. Subtle apricot in the middle. Honey grains and dry biscuits with touches of malt sugariness, the pale malts provide a nice backbone to the taste. This is pretty much like I expect a good American Blonde Ale to be, nothing over the top while remaining clean and refreshing.

This is the best golden/blond I’ve had yet. Aroma was nice and hoppy with a little lemony zest to it. Pour was a nice light gold with lots of tiny bubbles and a nice 1 finger white head. Taste was very tart and hoppy. Nice lemony citrus hops with strong carbonation that bites the cheeks and makes you say "ahhh" after swallowing.

A slightly hazy, golden pour with a small white head. The nose is a mild, citrus hop. The taste is crisp with a moderate bitterness that doesn’t overpower the finish. Nothing real special, but this is one of the better Abita beers.

Nice golden color with white head. Complex malt aroma offset by very nice hop aroma. Great malt taste with well balanced hop taste. A great pale ale.

Pours an amber ale with a tan head. Very fruity, floral hops. Tastes slightly bitter, Laces well. Has about the maximum hops I can enjoy. Bitter, but not to the point of extreme. Nice finish. A good beer.

Pours a hazy orange yellow with thin white head. Aroma is of light malts and citrus. Taste has citrus and caramel overtones with a slightly bitter and nicely dry finish. Good session ale.

I love this beer and that is something that is a wonder to hear. This beer has a beautiful white head and a delicious light golden colour. I love the taste and it is a very earthy and hippy taste with a small amount of summer taste. I love the super hippy aroma and it has a great lacing. Great beer great history of brewing and great loving of Louisiana. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I was surprised by this beer. I bought it expecting it to be average at best, instead it had a great flavor and reminded me how good of a job Abita does.

16.10.2012. 0,355l Bottle. Vieux Carre’ Wine and Spirits, New Orleans. @tkk. Golden blonde colour with white head. Nice strong aroma of fruity hops. Malty with medium body. Bitterness is rather fresh and leaves a crisp floral aftertaste. Very nice beer.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange-copper color with a smallish white head. Nose has a little bit of citrus in there. Taste is light and crisp with just a hint of bitterness. Not bad at all.
